Paisano DAO Brand Concept

PaisanoDAO is a social impact DAO with a mission to foster and promote inclusivity and diversity in the Web3 ecosystem. It’s a group of cultural practitioners who promote social change especially within the Latin American Web3 community. What began as a possibility, and today we are a collective of global thinkers, investors, game changers, decision makers, designers, creatives and developers, linked in our desire for global development without perimeters.

Challenge

In 2022, the DAO held a community challenge to develop the logo and brand for PaisanoDAO. Several community members submitted their brand concepts. All entries were up for community vote where the brand/logo concept with the most votes would be the winner.

Project

I created a concept that embodied Latin America as a whole. I researched all its flags and determined that atleast one of the following colors were present in all flags: red, green, yellow, blue. I researched Mesoamerican, Europeans, and African iconography which served as influences in the design of the emblem- to represent the heritage of Latin America.
