At ETHDenver’s Web3 Marketing Hackathon, the Starknet Foundation ran a challenge to Market a Word (Challenge 3). Participants had to create a mock brand campaign around a word from the challenge track.
We had complete creative freedom to make the campaign as relevant (or irrelevant) to the project as we wanted. The goal was to see where creativity would take us with just one word!
Judging Criteria
Does this word have a strong visual identity?
How impactful is the messaging around this word?
How creative is this brand campaign?

Challenge 3: Market a word | 2nd Place Winner
In my campaign proposal for the hackathon challenge, I reimagined a brand identity for Chipi Pay, a dApp designed to simplify the way users buy and invest digital assets in Mexico and beyond. The new brand identity centered around the word/concept of “Chipi,” a culturally-relevant avian mascot.
My winning entry focused on crafting delightful brand elements, a cute and meme-worthy mascot, and a vibrant touch that balances marketability with trust and usability. The result was a brand style that passes the vibe check, and inspires accessibility and adoption in Latin America.
